A search engine results page is the page, when a user search for any query and in-returns search engine display some relevant results on user’s GUI is known as SERP s (Search Engine Result Pages), although the page may also contain other results such as text advertisements and product listing advertisements.
Or In-general terms, whenever a user search for any query on Google’s search bar and get results correspond to that searched terms, just below to Google’s search bar. that particular page is called SERP. And in SERP, such results appear with “AD” written (1st 3 or 4 links) is called paid results (Text advertisements).
Basically, Search Engine is a platforms or you can say a process where user search for any query and in-returns he/she get results in correspond to keywords or characters specified by the user, it’s especially used for finding particular sites on the World Wide Web. Google, Yahoo, Bing, these are the major search engines mostly used.

# How Search Engine Works or it’s working process??
Actually, any Search Engine’s working process can be defined as in following three stages:
. Finding information by Crawling
. Organizing information by Indexing
. Dispatching useful responses
First process is of fetching user searched query or user’s searched terms in any search engine’s database or Google’s database. But before that any search engine’s crawlers/spiders or Google’s crawler(# Google-bot) reach and scan all those websites avail on internet or search for those sites where users searched relevant content is discovered or updated and there-after crawler store that fetched data/information to a huge database so that it can be retrieval as per user search query.
In all these process, fetching is called CRAWLING, storing fetched data/information is known as INDEXING and retrieve or displaying data or info. as per user’s searched query is called DISPATCHING.
