Mankind Pharma has launched a video campaign observing World Pharmacists Day reflecting on the work pharmacists do to ensure the communities they serve have access to the best possible medications and care.
Through a video campaign conceptualised by Grapes Digital, Mankind Pharma showcases the story of a hardworking middle aged man who owns a small pharmacy store and lives on his own. While he has been selling medicines to his customers and has even served people who can’t afford to pay, he falls sick. A child from the neighbourhood gets medicine for him in the end giving a message ‘while you have been taking care of us when you need us we are there for you.’

Joy Chatterjee, deputy general manager, Mankind Pharma, said, “The way pharmacists have worked amidst the coronavirus pandemic is truly commendable. This year has been a tough time for all but pharmacists have worked endlessly without thinking about their health just to provide health medication to others. So, this year is a tribute to pharmacists, doctors and nurses and we are thankful to them for their sacrifices in every situation.”
Shradha Agarwal, co-founder and chief operating officer, Grapes Digital, said, “Pharmacists have been providing health support for drought victims, finding ways to get medicines to patients isolated by bushfires or flood, and establishing Covid-safe protocols to keep their pharmacies open. We tried to build the campaign concept around this.”
