On what seems like the Mundane Monday ever, Google services including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet, Hangouts, and YouTube are down globally. The cause for the outage is unknown, and the services have been down for the good part of an hour now.
Users globally took to social media to express their frustration; some celebrated the outage as a serendipitous break from work, and the meme-makers got busy.

Earlier in the day Microsoft revealed that major internet browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Yandex are hit by a massive malware campaign. “The malware is designed to inject ads into search engine results pages,” said Microsoft.
